Outstanding tacos

Myself and my entire family love Salsa.
We usually pick up dinner and take it home to our backyard.
We have had Salsa catered my last 3 anniversary parties. 1st year we had about 125 guest, 2nd year we had 150 guests and on our 40th we had 185 guests. Next year is our 45th and I'm sure we will have over 200 guests.
Everything was fabulous, waitstaff to pass appetizers, flat grill for individual burritos, clean up and packaged up left overs. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Salsa has become our go to place for delicious Mexican food in Concord. Super burrito is my favorite!

I ordered a grilled chicken super burrito. Food was so good I WANT to go back and try their other items. The chips were perfect. saltiness with a hint of lime. My buddy ordered a veggy burrito and 2 veggy tacos and he said they were really good. This is deff a place i will be going back to very soon and I will be telling friends and family about this place. Service was okay...but then again when the food is that good I'm ok with cashier guy not smiling more..

I feel sorta just reviewed just I don't know what happened to that this is an excellent little restaurant it's over by PetSmart on Willow Pass across from Park & Shop and the little Willow Pass center it's been there for a long time. The food here is homemade tasting Mexican food Miss not high prices at all kind of a hole in the wall but I think it deserves a lot more business the guy that does hard work puts out a good product at a great price

I have ordered a couple of times the Taco Bar for my coworkers and we have loved everything about it. Both times we had carnitas and steak with both flour and corn tortillas (3 individually wrapped).

The food was hot when I picked it up and stayed that way with a 35 minute drive in front of me. Everything was sooo fresh including the chips. The bonus was although I purchased utensils, I loved the serving utensils included in the package. We all know most times there are never enough or any serving utensils for work gatherings.

I will be back again quite possibly for Cinco De' Mayo for the work crew and any other day just for me.

I was craving pozole so I found this place on Yelp simply because they delivered. Also bought some tacos and salsa tacos to feed my friends. This was the best decision I made! Everything was delicious, cooked well and piping hot! We'll definitely check out/ order more from this place in the near future.

Super disappointed. I actually did pick up for the first time tonight. I ordered my usual camarones ala diabla. I got home and the sauce was bland. There was no spice. Usually the sauce is super hot and flavorful. It's almost like they forgot the reaper sauce. The short story is check you food before you leave and give it a taste.

Update: I received a message from the owner apologizing and stating this was a one off and their mistake. He offered to fix it and provide a free replacement. The customer service alone is worth three points. I'll give them another try and post the results.

I found a veggie burrito that actually has veggies in it! Zucchini, mushrooms, peppers and onions with beans and rice. I added wet burrito status and guacamole and it is delicious. If you are vegetarian, they have multiple vegetarian items on their menu.

Just this evening, I made a delivery order here through Uber Eats. After placing our order, I quickly realized I had mistakenly left off my beloved's order of Huevos Rancheros. Because one must contact the restaurants directly when seeking to add to, or change, an Uber Eats order, I phoned Salsa Mexican Grill immediately.
I'm sure it is probably an annoying inconvenience to edit an Uber Eats placed order; that is why I was so grateful that the gentleman who took my call was able to make it happen. We were in need of delivery so without the entree which prompted our entire decision on where to eat, we'd have been stranded without.....so its most appreciated that the restaurant was willing and able to make that change.
As for the FOOD. Being from around here I've been to a zillion great local Mexican restaurants but this was our first time here and it's GREAT.. Besides the Huevos Rancheros which my better half very much liked; the tortilla chips were totally awesome. Chorizo and eggs was quite quite good. The veggie quesadilla we shared is one of the best quesadillas I've had in a very long time.
Once again, appreciation for changing the order. Great food as well!!

Let's face it; Concord has a TON of Mexican food spots. Luckily for me, I'm obsessed with Mexican food. I'm on a journey to hit up as many of them as I can (or maybe even ALL of them at some point... muahahahaha!). I would love to determine the crme de la crme. While Salsa Mexican Grill isn't the best Mexican food that I've ever had, it's still a great place to grab a burrito if you're driving down Willow Pass Road.

I've been eyeing this place for years, but never took the time to stop in because there are sooooo many other options that are close by. I was in the area one evening and decided to pop in for dinner. I found the interior to be very clean, and the salsa bar had a nice selection of salsas and other sides. I'm a creature of habit. Usually when I get Mexican food, I pretty much order the same entrees all the time. As much I as love burritos, I don't get them too often. I didn't plan on getting a burrito from here initially, but had to get one after reading the reviews and seeing the pictures about them. Their burritos seem to be very popular, so I had to give the crowd favorite a try.

I ordered their super wet burrito with chicken which came slathered in delicious red sauce and topped with sour cream. It was incredibly tasty! It was stuffed to the max with chicken and very flavorful. Not to mention, this burrito was MASSIVE! I finished half of it there and ate the other half the next day for lunch. I'm always a fan of yummy leftovers! This burrito was huge, filling, and cost me under $10! Score! Their price points are very reasonable, and they even have happy hour specials every day from 2-7. This isn't a full service restaurant, but the staff was really friendly and seemed excited to be there. All in all, it's a solid option for a good burrito if you're in the area. I would love to try some other items from their menu in the future.

This place is right down the street from where I work so I go there for lunch more often that I would like to admit. The food is delicious and the staff is very nice.

I was introduced to this place recently by a friend who comes all the time! He had mentioned it multiple times in the past but I never got to going in until recently with bf and the friends.

Really impressive vegetarian options! I got the vegetarian burrito and I really appreciate that it's not just the usual beans, rice, lettuce, guac, etc. kind of veggie burrito. This one is packed with tasty veggies!! Not that I don't appreciate the usual veggie burrito either, but this was a nice refresh to what you usually see. Salsas are flavorful and varied. We usually walk in and ask to be surprised with the most delicious tacos available and are never disappointed. The micheladas are rich, spicy and refreshing. When I am in the mood for something on the light side, I order the corn salad with ripe avocado and crispy bacon bits.

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Concord. The staff is friendly and the food is incredibly tasty and fresh. They make their own sope shells for heavens sake! And you can get a true veggie version of all their staples.

Last but not least is their chips and salsa. For me, this is the foundation for how I rate my Mexican restaurants. And they go above and beyond here. Great salsa choices and fresh, hot, perfectly salted chips. You can't go wrong with this place!

Decent spot to grab street style tacos. The tacos are pretty big (three tacos each- might even be overkill). Chips are included with each order- THE CHIPS! Oh the chips taste JUST LIKE Chipotle (franchise), I'm still debating whether or not they actually are Chipotle's chips?!! Nonetheless they are on point. They also have a salsa bar.

This place is so good. Just wish you guys had better hot sauce

I stopped in here and had a Carnitas/Asada burrito and it was yummy! Stuffed full of meat and steaming hot! The chips & salsa was also very good and the salsa seemed home made to me.

What an amazing amount of vegan and vegetarian options they have. Will for sure be coming back to try the vegan posole.

If you're looking for legit Mexican food look no further. Salsa is the place to go. Don't let the size fool you. The food is packed with authentic Mexican flavors. I take my wife and kids there once or twice a week. I always get the specials and kids love the carnitas and eggs and my wife loves the homemade chorizo and eggs. If you don't want to drive. They deliver!! Awesome place!!

This place has become my go-to spot for authentic, delicious Mexican food. They have a very extensive salsa selection that spans a range from mild and Smokey to incredibly melt your face off spicy. If you are feeling adventurous ask them for the secret Carolina Reaper salsa from behind the counter, but beware...
I always get a house made chorizo taco and the pozole, but you really can't go wrong with any of their offerings. They often have specials that are unique in that they draw upon some of the less common traditional dishes, which is a nice way to mix it up.
I live in San Leandro and often shoot out to Concord for this place, it's well worth the trip.

Consistent service with a smile... close to the office so I can pick up a quick lunch at a reasonable price. Try the California burrito it will last awhile

Had an order of the Braised Kale (~$4): Kale sauteed w/garlic, onion, & tomato. Also had an order of the Roasted Cauliflower (~$4): Toasted almonds & raisins in an orange glaze. Food was delicious, staff was kind, and the ambiance was sporting (with a soccer game on television).

This is a great place to go for Mexican comfort food. Every dish I've had here has been good from the mushroom torta, to the vegan pozole. What is great is that they have lots of vegetarian options. This is great because my family has meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans. They are usually not crowded so you get fast and friendly service.

I frequently order delivery through UberEats and i have never had a problem with my order.

The food is very delicious and reasonably priced (the tacos are a bit higher in price but my coworker said $2.50 for a shrimp taco). I always get the taco salad and i love it.

I tried the tortilla soup and hated it - but i dont like tomatoes and it tasted more like tomato soup. This was my first tortilla soup and im not exactly sure how it should taste, but 5 stars for the great food/experience ive had all of the other times.

I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this place. The restaurant is small, but they serve up delicious food at a great price.

I got the California burrito with chicken, and it was amazing. The fries added such a nice bit of saltiness to the burrito, and with some extra sour cream and guacamole it was killer! I actually couldn't finish the whole thing and had to take some home with me. The quality of chicken was really high, and my dad also agreed.

They had horchata and Jamaica available, which added a really nice authentic feel. The salsa bar was extensive and everything tasted really fresh. There are chips sitting on top of the partition, so you can grab as many as you need.

The layout of the restaurant is kind of odd, because you have to walk around all of the tables to get up to the bar if you are sitting in the corner like we were.

Overall, it's a place I would definitely go to again. It lacks the comforts of a higher end restaurant, but it has great food and you get a lot for your money.

I've been gong here for years - always for the vegetarian items. They consistently have fresh veggies and their menu options have large amounts and varieties of vegetables! I just tried their Mahi fish and it was just as fresh. Love this place!

Got a California Burrito and some street tacos and both were amazing!! Ordered it on UberEats and it was delivered right to my door. The burrito was huge so saved half for the next day, too bad I walked away from it for a second to find my dog had sneaked up onto the table and ate it!! Will come here again!

I don't come here enough, but they definitely have awesome food. I frequent the carne asada tacos, and their burritos are tasty as well. Many restaurants around here have mediocre complementary chips that I end up tossing out, however these chips are perfectly thin and crispy and don't taste like they came out of a Tostitos bag.

We ordered through Door Dash, got a Wet Super Steak Burrito, Chorizo Quesadilla, and a Cheese and Steak kid's quesadilla for my daughter. The food was amazing! The burrito was the size of my head. None of us could finish our food, we all have enough for lunch tomorrow. We got two bags of chips and 4 containers of salsa. The quesadilla came with pico de gallo and guacamole. 100% recommend this place.

There are now a number of new dishes that are more gourmet than the regular Taqueria fare and they have a phenomenal Mole, called Pipian. It's made with pumpkin seeds but tastes nothing like pumpkin, and it is a super savory Mole. I love it. It is not on the menu but ask for the chicken Pipian Mole and you will be amazed. The Oaxacan Mole is also superb and so many other great selections.. Don't miss out!

The food is great - try the carne asada burrito, or the rotisserie chicken or the nachos! Good homemade chips, a little on the greasy side. The place is a dive though ... they have vinyl seats and usually are playing Cuban music. Good salsa. Doesn't seem like the cleanest place; the best bet is get take-out, which does come with free chips....

This place is amazing!!! it is my favorite mexican restaurant to the day, and i have been going here for... um... at least 10 years. The only reason i dont go there that often anymore is because its way over priced! their burritos are like 7 or 8 dollars. In this economy, i dont think anyone can afford that. everyone do themeselves a favor and get a chicken burrito with hot salsa from here, it's the only thing I ever get. A little pricey, but I think it's still worth it. Better than average Taqueria that uses high quality ingredients. Concord, with a sizable Hispanic population, has quite a few Taqueria's, and I have had a chance to sample many of them for comparison. I have always found the food at Salsa to be tasty and well to my liking. I especially love the red sauce with the enchiladas, which is quite yummy, and is what I usually order here. They have a really nice little salsa bar with good selection of fresh prepared salsas to accompany your meal. They don't provide "free chips", but they give you chips with your meal. The strip mall location is nothing special, but it does have good parking. They always have Mexican music playing in the background to add to the ambiance.

The grilled veggies are awesome. Get them in a taco (my favorite), burrito, quesadilla or on a baked potato. And the chicken is good too. I take all my friends here and everyone loves it.

I've frequented this place over the years and never been disappointed. This is fresh, wholesome Mexican style food. I go for the whole wheat tortilla and black beans, which aren't often an option at other places. The chicken is fantastic! A "chico" burrito isn't really very small. It's more pricey than you might expect but the food and the service are dependable and consistent. The only complaint I have is that the guac is expensive and when you ask for it on your burrito they hardly put any. All in all, though, I really enjoy this restaurant.

This place is great for a fast, cheap, tasty meal. The $4.95 taco plate is delicious and very satisfying. You could easily spend that much at a fast food chain, but why bother when you can have a nice, fresh taco served with beans, rice, and chips.

I consider myself a roasted chicken expert. I travel for my job so i always make it a point to stop by roasted chicken places and try them.
THIS IS THE BEST ROASTED CHICKEN PLACE IN THE SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA. The slow-roasted smoked flavored chicken is delicious!
I have not tried other things there so I cannot comment. No points added here for ambiance/atmosphere, but if you are looking for great roasted chicken, this is as good as it gets. Don't miss out!

I've tried a few "Authentic Mexican Restaurants" in or around Concord, and not many compare.

I like the atmosphere of Salsa's. It's chill. The service is pretty good, I've always been served with a smile. It's always pretty clean, and they usually have someone cleaning tables and freshening the salsa bar. The restaurant itself is small but very pretty in the way it's decorated. I love the music.

The food is excellent. I've never been disappointed. I usually get a small steak burrito with cheese, pinto or black beans and salsa fresca. The ingredients are fresh and the food is prepared when you order it. The nachos are also very good, and there are a LOT of nachos in one order! I also love the Horchata, usually it's very good but sometimes can be a bit too sweet.

All in all, I would definitely recommend it, and it's my go-to place for Mexican food.

Wow!!! I have been eating lunch here for years and love their 1/2 Chicken lunch it is always fresh and the rotisserie chicken has always been moist and delicious. For the record it does have a salsa bar. I have also had their burritos and tacos and never had a bad meal.

We were in concord, hungry and just randomly picked this place while we were driving around. After I ordered I decided to check yelp and started to get a little worried. The wife and I both ordered the nachos and and the kids got Jr chicken burritos. When the food arrived it looked good, my oldest (6 year old and picky) tore into that thing like she hasn't eaten in weeks, my nachos were big and delicious, the wife couldn't even finish hers.

Next time I am in Concord I and want some Mexican, I wont think twice about stopping back in.

You want good food you have visit this wonderful restaurant. I ordered my favorite and was very pleased. I plan to visit again with friends to enjoy another great meal, the owner and servers were very accommodating. service was fast and wonderful.

I grabbed lunch here a few times when I used to get my hair done next door. I've had their steak nachos which I recommend and also their grilled chicken with rice and beans which was also pretty good. Its the kind of place that is probably better to have takeout though.

I don't come here too often but it is my lil hidden secret when I need to make a great escape from work and enjoy a nice burrrrrrrito.

This place is tucked in a small plaza next to a hawaiian bbq place, dim sum place and some home goods store. You walk in and the menus are posted above the cash register and you browse to see what you like. I saw that they had a rotisserie chicken burrito and I picked that because you don't really see that. While I waited for my burrito I went to grab some complimentary chips and salsa. They have 8 different types of salsa, I was in heaven trying to get a little of each to see which one was my favorite. The burrito came out quick and I was eating burrito, chips and salsa in no time. My favorite salsa was the avocado salsa which is very spicy and tasty and I kept eating chips with it and pouring it on my burrito. The burrito was essentially a super burrito but it came with rotisserie chicken instead of another meat and the chicken was flavorful and it had a nice smokey flavor and it went together beautifully with the rest of the ingredients in the burrito. I would like to come again and try some tacos or the tostada salad.

I received a response from one of the owners of the restaurant. He was very,very nice and I appreciate the very fast response. He said they would update the rice and make it without the chicken base. If this is true we will definitely return to this restaurant and order for my daughter's birthday party. I love the breakfast and the chicken burritos and all the salsa choices.

Since the new owners have come in they have really improved Salsa. More menu choices, and great quality. I love the Chile Rellenos, the Enchiladas and the Chicken Fajita Burrito is awesome. The have a bigger salsa bar and have daily specials with some things not on the regular menu. The Chicken Mole is awesome when available . They also now have seafood for tacos, burritos and special plates. Good lunch experiences here for me.

Went there yesterday for lunch. Had a huge wet carnitas burrito. It was delicious. The lady who took my order was super friendly, very smiley. I will definitely be coming back!

Great food, friendly staff. We ordered veggie burrito and veggie quesadilla they added lots of veggies like zuccini and other veggies in our food. Also loves the salsa bar lots of variety to choose from. Next time I will bring my daughter and also try their taco salad and orchatta drink.

OMG! The flautas are so good, their super yummy. I highly recommend them to anyone, the tacos are good too but I must say the flautas are better so good that's all I want to order there, I was thinking of trying other things but them flautas are too good to pass on & the employees are very sweet, & they have a variety of good salsas too, me & my boyfriend like to mix some of them cause some are not spicy enough & other are a little too much spicy, this place is a very good place to go & eat:)

My husband and I go about once a week! I usually get the chicken tacos or chicken burrito which are flavorful and fresh tasting. Great salsa bar. You can also get breakfast burritos all day and the steak one is the best. The catering is also great and inexpensive. We had them cater a family Christmas party and all of our East Coast relatives were in heaven. I've never seen them so happy. My brother-in-law was actually wiggling in his seat while he was eating a burrito.

Having spent many years in San Diego, taco shop visits are a common occurrence, especially as the night goes on. I have been back up here for a couple of years now and it has been difficult to find taco shops that offer the So-Cal style of Mexican food I'm used to. This place comes very close.

I was amazed when I saw that they have a California Burrito. It's nothing special, it just replaces beans and rice for French fries. I know, I know, total gringo food, but it's good when you pair it with steak, pico, guac, a little cheese, and some of the great hot sauces Salsa has. I'm sure all of their other food is very good. It looks great. but if you're like me, missing some SD taco shop, this place comes very close.

One more thing I have to add, and its not a knock on this place, is that you all need to ditch the rice and beans from your burritos. It's just filler. Guess what happens when you leave out rice and beans? You get more meat! I know what you're thinking - what's a burrito without rice and beans? And I ask, does it really provide much flavoring at all? Or does it just make your burrito bigger? French fries add some crispiness to it and soak up that sauce.

Wish I was eating one right now...

Bought food to go during lunch today. I wasn't super hungry, so I just got the 2 cheese enchiladas. To my surprise they gave me a small bag of chips. I read in a previous review that said they charge for the chips but I don't think they do. My bill came out to about $11 after ordering off the menu where the price was close to $10. I think this place was a bit pricey but it's still good. Service was great!! The two older ladies were really really nice.

Love the presentation of the food, even in a box (see picture). Everything was organized and looked nice, it wasn't just thrown there.

Tried this place expanding our Mexican food options. They are fairly reasonably priced. Apparently they are under new management, or so says the banner they were hanging as we came in. My wife order the enchiladas and I ordered the carne asada plate. Both were very good and I was surprised by the handmade tortillas. They were fantastic! We will be back for more!

My hole in the wall. Okay, first of all I don't know why this is rated so average! I love this place!! If you say you love Chipotle then you've never tried authentic Mexican food. I've gone here for 5 years now and I would recommend this to anyone.

They have lots of chairs and tables so large groups are doable. They accept cash, credit or debit. They all work fast and efficiently. They aren't overly priced and the food delicious.

I go here often. They are close and fast. I call in my order and it's ready in about 10min. I order the same thing all the time. I really should try out the rest of the menu, but their chicken tostada salad is SO good.

The lady that works the register is super nice. She sees me in there often. They have a stamp card, but I always forget to bring it. No matter. Guess you can say I'm a regular.

Very nice service all throughout the visit, complimentary chips with free refills, about 8 different salsas to choose from, plenty of space to watch the game. The quesadilla was good, not too oily or fried, the enchiladas were good too, again not too oily.The atmosphere was a little casual, there were very few people eating in, which was surprising given that there is a pretty sweet deal on gruopon right now. Pay 15 dollars and get 25 dollars worth of food. Overall not a fancy place, but great mom and pop shop experience

This is the best Burrito place in Concord! Their salsa Mango Habanero salsa is the best I have ever had. And the customer service is outstanding too! I definitely recommend this place.

I happened to look over my shoulder and saw this Mexican eatery staring at me..I was starving! I was hoping they had my Jamaica drink and a good torta. I got parking right in front, meant to be, and walked in and asked , without looking at the menu, if they had tortas and she said, Yes! My eyes widened and then I saw the Jamaica across the room and I fell in love. Now let's taste this torta....

I found out about this place through Groupon and since it is in my neighborhood, I figured I might as well try it out. I went there about a month ago and I tried the taco salad with carne asada and camarones a la Diablo. I believe that's what it was... I thoroughly enjoyed my taco salad and the camarones, I loved that too. I thought the rice and beans that came with the Camarones were very tasty as well. I loved the salsa bar and I would definitely recommend this place to anybody and I guess the best thing I can say about this is I will definitely be back without my Groupon so thank you, Salsa Mexican Grill, this was a welcome surprise and I'll see you this weekend when I try the pozole!

I tried Huarache and I really liked it! My wife and I also bought the Groupon and were pleasantly surprised with Salsa. The salsa bar offered at least 6 different salsas, all with unique flavors, including 3 hot ones that had me sweating. And, normally, I am not a fan of chunky tomatoey pico de gallo, but I really liked theirs. It was not chunky - it was more pureed than most places and had a delicious flavor. My wife had a taco salad and said all the ingredients were fresh and tasty. We will be back, for sure.

This place definitely deserves a 5-star yelp after the service I just received. I called and asked for something they didn't make but the gentleman said he would be able to make something happen for me, 20 minutes later I showed up and took the food back to my office since I decided to leave my breakfast on my table this morning, not only did he make exactly what I asked but it was so extremely well made and very very delicious. Thank you sir for such a delicious homemade meal.

This place is really good. It's not fancy, it can be cold during the winter (bring a coat), it's not in the nicest part of town, but if you are looking for "real"Mexican food, not just burritos and a bunch of Tex-Mex stuff you don't even find in Mexico, but real Mexican home-style grub, this place his the spot.

WARNING: if your idea of good Mexican food is ground beef crispy (taco bell style) tacos with sour cream and cheddar cheese, or chimmichungas, this place probably isn't for you.

...but if your idea of amazing Mexican food is the stuff that grandma's in Mexico serve the family eg. Cazuela, mole, cochinita pebil, caldo de pollo/res, pezole, birria, sopes and all that bomb, amazing home cooked goodness, at a really great price, this place is 5-stars.

Pro-tip: if you are unfamiliar with "real" Mexican food, do yourself a favor and skip the burrito you normal order. They have a different special every day that is cheap and always amazingly good. Even if you don't know what it is, order it! You'll be in for a treat.

Bought a Groupon and decided to come try this place out tonight.
It's a hole in a wall, in a old strip mall across the street from Park and Shop.
But we were pleasantly surprised how good everything was. The two guys working were super nice, and helpful.
I ended ordering the Pozole soup. Hubby had super quesadilla with the braised short ribs and my son had the carne asada nachos.
We munched on the free chips and helped ourselves to a few different salsas on the salsa bar.
The food didn't take too long to come out.
Good portions ... My sons nachos were HUGE!

Hubby loved his quesadilla and taco... Which was giant!

I'm here two or three times a week. I love this place, close to my work, convenient and a good chopped salsa with cilantro. Normally I get a fajitas or nachos, but the quesadilla and burritos are pretty good too.

The owner sometimes has his kid running the register. It's great, family owned, and everyone is nice and respectful.

Not content to be just your typical menu with tacos, burritos, enchiladas, and quesadillas, this place also features more upscale Mexican fare such as tostadas de tinga, camarones al diablo, and mole. There are also breakfast menu items and vegetarian items. Complimentary chips and salsa come with each order. However, don't be fooled by the more upscale items: Fine dining it is not.

As Siskel and Ebert would have put it, two thumbs up; way, way up, for the extensive menu variety. The menu doesn't look any longer than a typical Mexican restaurant menu, so I don't know what got cut in order to put up the more exotic items.

However, the salsa wasn't sitting on a bed of ice, or even chilled, while we were there, so I question the freshness factor at the salsa bar.

The food was great. I appreciate a good mole, but it was a little spicier and not as sweet as I would have liked. (I was told it's the sweeter chocolate-based one, not the spicy one)

Like Nathan M. said on 12/4/15, it's not your standard Mexican menu, nor is it California-style, Southwestern, Latin fusion, Tex-Mex, or any other common variation of Mexican, so don't come here if you want standard Mexican. This place is a step up.

Tasty burrito- even the small burrito is gigantic. Chips are fresh - need to be salted. Horchata is well made - not watered down. Definitely going back.

Found this little gem from a groupon and am glad I found it! I ordered a chicken tamale with a side of rice. So fresh and delicious. I am not use to eating tamales without a sauce on it but this was a plesant surprize. The chicken inside had a green sauce and ontop was sour cream, pico de gallo, lettuce and cheese. Oddly I am pretty sure the cheese ontop was not a Mexican cheese. That should be changed if I were to give any critique. Definitly in my top favorite tamales.

This is a small Mexican deli near Ranch 99. The owner is super nice and friendly, and the store is fairly clean. They serve authentic Mexican food and has tons of options other than your typical burritos and tacos.

The wet burrito was with red sauce and was HUGE!! It was basically the size of their super burrito. It had lots of fillings and wasn't just tortillas, and it was pretty delicious. The Al Pastor was quite special- not your typical spicy pork, but ground pork with pineapples! Not at at all. Child verde dinner plate was ok, I liked the meat but there were not much of it nor the sides. The roasted corn salad was super delicious and a great complement to the meal. I also enjoyed their free chips, along with the hot salsa from the salsa bar!!

Next time I want to try a seafood dish, other meats in a super burrito/enchiladas, and mole!

* wet burrito - al pastor ($10) - beans, rice, pick de gallo, sour cream, cheese, guacamole, choice of meat
* roasted corn salad ($5.50) - romaine lettuce, crispy bacon, avocado, lemon vinaigrette

Others
* chile verde ($7.50) - pork cubes braised in a tomatillo jalapeo sauce, rice, received beans, and tortillas

This is such a relaxing place to gorge yourself on the the most awesome tasting super burritos in town.

I absolutely love this place. It has the best veggie burrito & veg taco salad I've ever had, with actual veggies in it! Not just an absence of meat. And that braised kale is delicious. Also I left my wallet here once and one of the employees hand delivered it to my apartment. Respect

Offers big selection of delicious ???? vegetarian dishes including fajitas. And the salsa bar is great.

The food was delicious, the service was excellent and the serving size was substantial. We're going back again! The handmade tortilla were amazing!
